Ghorepani Poon Hill trek starts from Nayapul after one and half hour drive from Pokhara. In this trek you will pass through beautiful villages of Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk. You will enjoy the trek in the spectacular mountain scenery through delightful villages inhabited by Gurungs and Magars.

  1. Day 1 ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU

    On your arrival at Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, the representative of Adventure Extreme will welcome you & drive you to the respective Hotel . It’s a free day/evening. You can walk around Thamel for shopping.

  2. Day 2 DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO POKHARA

    After breakfast our office representative and guide will meet you in your hotel. We will have a group meeting and then we will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Trekking area.

  3. Day 3 DRIVE TO NAYAPUL AND TREK TO ULLERI

    The trek starts from Nayapul. During the trek, we pass through local villages, tea houses, gentle green rolling hills, rivers and meet local people of that place. We will cross Tirkhedunga Khola by the suspension bridge and the trail begins by climbing up quite steeply on a stone staircase which has more than 3200 steps. After climbing the hill, we can see Mt. Annapurna south (7219m.) and Hiunchuli (6441m.).

  4. Day 4 TREK TO GHOREPANI

    It is a very pleasant part of the trek. Most of the days we walk through the jungle and if you come in spring season, you will see lots of Rhododendrons which is our national flower. You’ll also have the chance to see many wild animals and birds and the great view of many snow-capped mountains can be seen.

  5. Day 5 VISIT POON HILL AND TREK TO GHANDRUK

    We will get up early in the morning and climb up to Poon Hill(3210m.). It takes about an hour to get to Poon Hill. You will see the best sunrise and magnificent view of the Himalayas like Annapurna South, Bahari Shikhar, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri ranges, Tukuche peak, Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal, Mt.Manaslu ranges, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and others mountains. After this unforgettable view, we will come back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then we will trek to Ghandruk.

  6. Day 6 TREK TO NAYAPUL AND DRIVE TO POKHARA

    We will trek down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. If the day is clear, we may see Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (fishtail) and Annapurna III close to our eyes during the walk. In Pokhara, we will walk around the city and Lake Side.

  7. Day 7 DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU

    We will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Check into your respective Hotel. After your rest and refreshment we will walk to Thamel for last minute shopping and then we will go for group dinner in typical Nepali restaurant.

  8. Day 8 DEPARTURE

    Depending on your flight time we will drop you at Tribhuwan International airport for your final departure to your destination.

Jiten Shrestha

FOUNDER/DIRECTOR

Founder/Director, Mr. Jiten Shrestha was born in a village called Salleri(2413 m) of Solukhumbu District of Nepal. Solukhumbu is famous in the world for mountain tourism. The main attraction of Solukhumbu is Mt. Everest (8848 m). Jiten Shrestha spent his childhood and studied his lower secondary level in Salleri village. Later Jiten Shrestha was selected by the Government of Nepal to study in Kathmandu at Budhanilkantha School. The school was one of the best and was running by the British Government. He compled his higher secondary school from Budhanikantha School and joined Trichandra College in Kathmandu for further education.

Mr. Durga Shrestha (Kaji)

CO- FOUNDER/ADVISER

Durga Shrestha (Kaji) was born in East of Nepal, Bamti Bhandar, Bamti Bhandar is the trail to Everest region. Durga Shrestha spent his childhood in the village studying and helping his parent to run a  Lodge which was called Buddha Lodge. While running the lodge, he met and interacted with a lot of tourists from all over the world and later moved to Kathmandu to start his trekking career.
